Hi, I'm Kate Moon - a Florida girl at heart who now calls Charleston, SC home. I first found Sansara in 2022 when hosta a yoga retreat and deeply fell in love with Sansara's intentional atmosphere, loving staff, and wild surroundings. I knew my story with Sansara was only beginning back then. I returned to Sansara late 2024 to act as Retreat Coordinator and my love for it and Cambutal as a whole, only grew deeper roots. I feel so fortunate to feel so welcomed here as if it is my second home.
My passion for yoga began in 2014 when I made a radical change in my lifestyle and began walking the path of sobriety. Yoga gave me a way to rebuild a healthy relationship with my body and really tune into the frequency of who I was. Over time, I learned to sit still and go inward to the pivotal practices that teach us how to live in yoga off the mat. Since then, I have had the honor of building heartfelt communities of yogis through my everyday teachings, my international retreat business, and my Yoga Teacher Trainings. My students would say I am known for my creative and playful sequencing on the mat, and inspiring messages about humanity. I hope to not only challenge you to meet yourself on the mat in movement but in the true yogic practices of introspection. I might ask you the hard questions but always meet you with compassion and grace.
I can't wait to meet you.
