Sansara Gratitude

In this holiday season we like to take the time to reflect on the little things we are grateful for. Here at Sansara we are grateful for nourishing food, watching the beautiful sunsets, riding the ocean waves, practicing soulful yoga and connecting to nature as much as possible.

Thank you for those who have joined us and made Sansara part of your family. If you have yet to join us, we eagerly wait to meet you on your journey.

New ways to arrive!

We know getting to our paradise here can be a long travel day. To help ease this, we have been partnering with local airlines, Air Panama, and private charters. Your travel day would be a short 30 min plane ride and a couple hour bus ride to Sansara, arriving around 1pm. You will get to enjoy the peaceful space and walk the beautiful beach just a little sooner.

A heartfelt Thank You

We love hearing directly from our guests!

Amanada recently joined us on a retreat in November and we wanted to share her feedback and experience:
Dear Janel, Mike and the incredible team at Sansara,

I wanted to write to say a huge thank you. These words really aren’t enough to express my gratitude for the week that gave me more than I ever could have imagined. I will be living in the memories for a long time to come and taking with me so, so much more.

I set an intention at the start of the weeks practice to let go, and boy did that come true. I am struggling to explain to friends and family just how powerful one week at a retreat could affect me so deeply and just how different Sansara was from anything else I’ve experienced. It was a combination of everything.
I hope I can mention just a few things this incredible week at Sansara has given me:
The first and most obvious strength is your absolutely beautiful resort. It is stunning. The facilities are amazing, the yoga shala is perfection and the grounds so relaxing, equal parts private and beautifully designed to bring people together.

The food and service were impeccable. Your menu and chefs are an absolute credit to your resort. I have not looked forward to meals this much ever and wish I could replicate them all myself! Every single meal was delicious and the team took such incredible care of us/me with my intolerances. I loved the ethos of bringing everyone together each night, and the flexibility/timing throughout the day to choose what felt best.

The best yoga retreat I’ve done. It should go without saying that this was of course a highlight and credit where credit is due to Gen who was unbelievably good. Gen was everything I could want in a yoga instructor (one of the best instructors I’ve had in the last 15 years). Yoga is subjective and I am so incredibly lucky and happy that her style of yoga was everything I could wish for. I hope more people take the leap like me and come from around the world trusting that Sansara will provide the most unique and fulfilling experience either way.

Surfing was amazing. I’ve surfed before so I didn’t do any lessons, and this beach was excellent (I had planned another rest day but so glad I went three days, it’s so rare to have that opportunity where I live now). Yoga, swimming in the ocean and getting into nature are always my go to’s when I’m anxious or need to feel grounded. This was salt water therapy at its best.

The people. Your team set the standard by greeting us one day 1. The welcome, the support, the friendly faces each day of staff who took the utmost care of us all, everyone was so happy and relaxed. I truly believe Sansara allowed us to get to know each other in such a beautiful and authentic way. Sharing meals, yoga practice, dry land surf lesson, activities, spending time on the couches/by the pool. It’s all designed to bring us together. This inter-generational, co-ed group were so caring, supportive and inspiring right from the very moment we met. I shake my head in awe at how this safe space allowed everyone to open up, be 100% themselves, on their own authentic journey.
There was not a single thing that could have been improved. I feel so incredibly lucky, this week filled my cup and my heart in ways I didn’t know I needed or ever expected. I sincerely hope to be back one day.
Thank you for everything, it was truly magical.

Sending love from London and daydreaming of Sansara,

Amanda
