Cambutal is a hidden gem and incredible travel destination here in Central America. Days are long and open to be filled with epic adventures and activities. We have come to realize that Cambutal is a giant playground for adults. When visiting us our guests have been able to enjoy and create the vacation of their dreams.
Many of the adventures you can do year-round; such as learning how to surf with our experienced team of surf instructors, practicing yoga in our oceanfront shala, relaxing and restoring through massage services offered by our certified therapists in our open air spa rancho, sunset horseback rides by the beach, paddle boarding in the protected bay in front of Sansara, and so much more.
Other activities that we offer are more seasonal. This past month, our guests had life changing experiences; watching humpback whales as they migrate along the Pacific Coast of Panama and assisting the local turtle conservation project by helping to collect and safely store turtle eggs in their designated spots, and even releasing turtle nestlings into the ocean with the aide of local guides.
We just launched a new retreat,Adventure Away, taking place in August 2022. This is our first retreat dedicated primarily to adventure, a chance for guests to experience Cambutal and Sansara as a whole and at it’s best.
