Yoga Teacher Training
Embark on a transformative 15-day yoga teacher training with Lead Trainers Sean Alexandra, Jennifer Liu, and Assistant Teacher Daphne Bourbonnais, as you immerse yourself in the tropics of Cambutal. Together, they will lead you through daily yoga sessions, breathwork, engaging lectures, and immersive workshops. This experience will empower you, deepen your connection with you inner voice, and instill confidence in your capacity to share and teach the foundational principles and techniques of yoga. Diving into this kind of vulnerability is HARD, but so rewarding! We promise an experience beyond expectations. Our goal is to make sure you feel encouraged, authentic and intimately connected with yourself. This training is small and intimate, with limited spots available which allows students to receive ample 1-1 time with Lead Trainers in order to get the most out of their learning. Yoga is a centuries-old practice that deserves reverence and respect, but it doesn't exist in a vacuum. To truly honor the practice, we need to consider its relationship to our current context. In this training, we'll teach you how to apply the philosophies and lessons of traditional yoga to our modern world.
With almost 20 years combined teaching experience, Sean, Jen & Daphne have curated a YTT like no other. Over the last three years, they have meticulously crafted an unparalleled experience designed to help individuals not only enhance their yoga practice but also make profound life transformations. Our program offers a unique approach to the typical 200 hour teaching training in that it provides opportunity to dive deep into various aspects of yoga, including movement, mindfulness, community support, and self-expression, all while maintaining a trauma-informed lens. Teaching teachers is one of the greatest gifts and we do not take it lightly. We have poured our hearts into ensuring we deliver the highest standard of education, care, and support that you deserve as you step into your light as a Yoga Teacher. With our combined knowledge spanning across subjects such as advanced pranayama, advanced anatomy, trauma-informed teaching, assisting and adjustments, active breathwork, mobility and biomechanics, we are confident that you leave this training with a well-rounded scope of what it means to teach yoga, and will be able to step onto your mat as an informed empathetic, and community-driven teacher.

Jennifer is a yoga and breathwork teacher, entrepreneur, founder of Vibe Ten Studio (@vibeten) in Toronto, Canada, and a mobility specialist. She began teaching in 2017 after completing her 200hr YTT in Costa Rica. After studying in traditional hatha and vinyasa for the early years of her career, an injury led Jennifer to acquire a deeper understanding for biomechanics. She studied with Dr. Spina and obtained a speciality designation as a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist. At her studio, Jennifer incorporates both yoga asana, introspection, and mobility to teach fluid Vinyasa sequences that are fun, spicy, and empowering.
Currently, Jennifer is a Key City Market Ambassador for lululemon and has taught for the company as well as F45, University of Toronto, RioCan, St. Mikes Collegiate Institute, and Soft Landings.
Daphné (she/her) is a dedicated teacher with a lifelong passion for music and yoga. After over 20 years of intensive violin study, the pressures of classical music led her to seek balance through yoga. This led her to complete her first Yoga Teacher Training in Montreal, enabling her to share the practice of yoga with others.
Eager to combine movement and music for her students, Daphné completed a 100-hour Kids Yoga Teacher Training. Most recently, she got more certifications expanding her knowledge in Hands-on Assists and Yin Yoga. With over a decade of experience teaching violin and yoga to people of all ages, Daphné is passionate about creating a spark in people that allows them to find a piece of themselves through their learnings. On top of teaching her weekly classes, she loves running workshops & mentoring new teachers to help them pass along the teachings to the best of their ability. She is eager to help set a new foundation through this YTT.
